Memories of Long Ago

When publishing a memoir, you want your readers to walk away with an understanding of people's emotions, people's insecurities, people's distress and people's hopes and dreams.  If the reader and (pretend) book reviewer chooses to see a horribly flawed person, or read lines only about toxic relationships, and believes the author is a selfish person who made dangerous mistakes...that is their prerogative. 

When publishing a memoir, an author can only wish that they will walk away fully accepting who they are, where they came from, and what made them.
